A sustainable planet requires a collaborative effort.
Researchers, leaders, thinkers and practitioners are deeply aware of sustainability issues facing the planet’s resources, but without cross-table collaboration they remain siloed with no clear way to make meaningful solutions.
A community where we can listen to perspectives and share our own to identify the issues and find winning strategies to make long-lasting change towards a world where there’s no such thing as waste.
The VR(Ex)Change) was initiated to help build stronger connections and coordination between U.S. and internationally-based existing networks focused on realizing sustainability. The orienting purpose of the VR(Ex)Change collective membership is to increase efficiency and sustainability of global manufacturing and supply chains through collaborations that explore practices to increase connections among sustainable consumption, sustainable production, and sustainable development. This connectivity and mutual interest are part of the strategy in which the VR(Ex)Change aims to enhance the competitiveness of U.S. researchers and professionals within the global sustainability and circular economy transformation. Connecting and bridging diverse perspectives, from across different regions, fields, and sectors can inform opportunities for enhanced and scaled-up applied research and collaboration.
